Phosphogypsum is mainly gray-black and gray-white, with a particle size of 5-50μm and a crystal water content of 20%-25%. Phosphogypsum is a solid waste produced in the wet process phosphoric acid process, and its main component is calcium sulfate dihydrate. The composition of phosphogypsum is quite complicated. In addition to calcium sulfate, there are incompletely decomposed phosphate rock, residual phosphoric acid, fluoride, acid insoluble matter, organic matter, etc. Among them, the existence of fluorine and organic matter has the greatest impact on the resource utilization of phosphogypsum. The random discharge and accumulation of gypsum seriously damages the ecological environment, not only pollutes groundwater resources, but also wastes land resources.

Phosphogypsum grinding process

Phase 1: Broken
The bulk material of phosphogypsum is crushed by the crusher to the feed fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the mill.
Second Stage: Grinding
The crushed phosphogypsum small pieces are sent to the silo by the elevator, and then evenly and quantitatively sent to the grinding chamber of the mill by the vibrating feeder for grinding.
Stage Three: Grading
The ground materials are classified by the powder classifier, and the unqualified powder is classified by the classifier and returned to the main machine for re-grinding.
The fourth stage: collecting powder
The fineness powder enters the dust collector along with the airflow through the pipeline for separation and collection, and the collected finished powder is sent to the finished product silo by the conveying device through the discharge port, and then uniformly packed by a powder tanker or an automatic packing machine.

What is the use of phosphogypsum after processing?

Phosphogypsum has a large output, is widely used, and can be recycled and reused. The use of phosphogypsum after grinding is as follows:
1. It can be used in the production of sulfuric acid and cement. Phosphogypsum sulfuric acid co-production cement technology, so that the sulfur in phosphogypsum is powdered and regenerated into sulfuric acid, and other components form cement clinker;
2. It can be used as a cement retarder. Phosphogypsum is used alone or mixed with dihydrate gypsum in an appropriate proportion as a cement retarder. The performance of the prepared cement is equivalent to that of natural gypsum, but the dosage is lower than that of natural gypsum, which can reduce the cost of cement production;
3. It can be used in the production of chemical raw materials. Phosphogypsum is rich in calcium and sulfur resources, and can be commercialized through a certain production process.
