About phosphate rock

Phosphate ore is a phosphorus-containing ore, which is mostly produced in sedimentary rocks, but also in metamorphic and igneous rocks. Phosphate ore processing process

Phosphate ore processing technology adopts flotation method, which generally needs to go through the four processes of crushing, grinding, flotation, and drying. Next, I will introduce the specific process of phosphate ore flotation production line in detail:

1. Crushing and screening stage

First, the large phosphate rock is sent to the jaw crusher for coarse crushing by the vibrating feeder, and then sent to the cone crusher by the conveyor for fine crushing. Then enter the circular vibrating screen to be sieved and classified. The qualified materials are sent to the silo to be processed, and the unqualified materials are sent back to the crusher to continue crushing.

2. Grinding and classification stage

The phosphate rock that fits into the mill size is transported to the industrial mill for grinding. The ground powder is sieved through the classifier along with the airflow. The qualified powder passes through the classifier and finally enters the powder collection bin, and the unqualified powder is sent to the grinding chamber to continue grinding.

3. Flotation separation stage

The graded phosphate ore slurry is stirred by a mixing tank and sent to the flotation machine. At this time, a reasonable flotation agent is added, and after 1 coarse, 3 sweep, and 1 fine flotation, a preliminary phosphate concentrate can be obtained.

4. Drying and dehydration stage

Phosphate concentrate contains a certain amount of water, so it needs to be concentrated and precipitated in the thickener, and then into the dryer for drying and dewatering to obtain high-grade concentrated mineral materials.
